- 1 large onion, chopped
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can of tomato sauce
- A jar of El Navarrico Tumaca fresh tomato spread (you can also use diced tomatoes too!)
- 1 cup of water
- 2-3 Tsp of olive oil
- 1/2 a Tsp of red pepper flakes

Use a medium to large pot and turn up the heat to medium-high to get it hot. Then peel and cut the potatoes, onions, and garlic so everything is ready to go.
Heat the oil in the pot, and add the garlic and onions in, and stir frequently to avoid burning the garlic. Continue cooking for about 5 minutes or until the onion is translucent.
