Ginger Tisane

Ginger is known for its restorative and medicinal properties. A tisane, or an infusion of herbs and spices, is a perfect nightcap or cure for an upset stomach. Here, we add vodka to spruce up this healthful drink.

  • 3 slices of lemon
  • 2 sprigs of mint
  • 1 Tbsp. ginger paste
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • ½ cup water
  • ice


Combine all the ingredients except vodka in a small pot and bring to a simmer. Turn off heat and steep for 7-10 minutes, dependent on your tastes. Once cooled, strain into a mug and stir in vodka and ice.
