  • One 4.6 oz. jar Bazzar churrasco sauce
  • ¼ cup canola oil
  • 1 Tbsp. BR Spices churrasco spice mix
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1½ lbs. beef (top sirloin) or chicken breast meat, cut into 1-inch cubes

1. Soak 8 wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the churrasco sauce, canola oil, churrasco spice mix, lime zest, chili powder, and salt. Add the meat and toss to coat evenly. Cover and allow to marinate at room temperature for 1 hour, or overnight in the refrigerator for more flavor.

3. Meanwhile, light a grill. (If you don’t have a grill, heat a grill or griddle over gas burners, or use the broiler.)

4. Thread the meat onto the prepared skewers and grill over high heat until charred and cooked through, flipping once, 7 to 10 minutes. Serve hot.

NOTE: To make a vegetarian version of the dish, simply swap the beef and chicken with zucchini, okra, and red onion.
